Learn How to Select Resilient and Pest-Free Plants for Your Garden

Ever wonder which plants are the best choices for hardiness and pest resistance in our area?  Our guest speaker Robin Smillie will present a program highlighting tough plants that can withstand insects, pests, disease and environmental challenges.  Robin has extensive plant knowledge and experience working as the Manager at Garden Goods nursery in Traverse City where she answers hundreds of gardening questions each season.  Robin says she is "always helping the customer select the right plant or product for the right place, including questions about the space, light and pests in the area.”

Please join us to learn more about resilient plants on May 4, 2021, at 6:30 pm at a virtual meeting of the Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan.  This Zoom presentation is free to Association members and a $5.00 donation is suggested for non-members/the public. This Zoom presentation is free to Association members and $5.00 donation is suggested for non-members/the public.
