Master Gardeners interested in viticulture can learn more at the August 3, 2021, 6:30 pm meeting of the Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan. This meeting will be held at Shady Lane Cellars Winery, 9580 Shady Lane, Suttons Bay.  Vineyard Manager Andy Fles will discuss grafting, trellising, grape varieties and canopy management.  Andy completed his horticulture degree at Michigan State University and cut his teeth at a vineyard management company in Oregon.  Andy is a bottomless well of plant knowledge that is essential to making the best wine possible.

Wine and cheese social hour afterwards.
