Join the Master Gardeners for a 6:30 p.m. evening talk about construction and value of Green Roofs by Nathan Griswold, President and Founder of Inhabitect.  During the evening the MGANM sponsored green-roofed building at the Boardman River Nature Center will be highlighted and celebrated.

Come early at 6:00 p.m., for a MGANM potluck meal at the Boardman River Nature Center.


Nathan has worked at the forefront of the green infrastructure industry for 20+ years.  Long respected for his technical knowledge and hands-on experience, he is one of the first individuals to receive Green Roof Professional (GRP) accreditation from Green Roofs for Health Cities (GRHC) and was selected as the industry’s first North American Policy Educator, where he helped guide and implement the organization’s efforts to advance green roof technology and educate design professionals & policymakers on all forms of green infrastructure.

Nate has Associate’s degree in Plant Science from Northwest Michigan College, a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (ASLA), a RISE environmental specialization, and a Certificate in Landscape & Nursery Development from Michigan State University.
