Join naturalist James Dake and Master Gardeners Association of Northwest Michigan for a zoom presentation on the topic of Northern Michigan Sedges.  In wetland environments sedges are some of the most numerous and common plants, but may be overlooked because they can be difficult to identify. Taking the time to slow down to look at them closely, you find they are quite attractive and simple to identify. This class will walk you through a variety of wetland communities as we learn some of the most common sedges you are likely to encounter in Northern Michigan.
