Shelly has been the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network's (ISN) Go Beyond Beauty Specialist since 2020, working to strengthen the ornamental invasive species awareness program in our region as well as bring it statewide. With her background in landscaping, training as a Master Gardener, and Bachelors of Science in Natural Resource Management, she loves to connect with others through nature! You may recognize her from in-person and online presentations and events like this year's winter sowing workshop - or the native plant garden work bees at the Boardman River Nature Center.
